Elite Screens Aeon CLR 5 publishes 0.8 gain at 150 inches, with a 170° viewing angle and UST/triple-laser compatibility.
Lower published gain
Spectra Vantage lists 0.5 gain and 95% ALR for its UST screen surface, with a custom 150-inch product listing.
Fresnel direction
VIVIDSTORM and AWOL Vision both market large Fresnel UST options, useful when stronger directional brightness and light rejection matter more than the widest seating angle.
Where the Black Series fits
It is a compelling shortlist entry when you want a 150-inch wall-mounted UST screen, the lower-gain lenticular approach, a wide published viewing angle and the merchant's 95% ALR positioning. Its most important tradeoff is the merchant's explicit note that screens above 120 inches use splicing and can show a fine seam.
Before you choose any 150-inch screen
- Verify your projector's supported image-size and focus range.
- Measure the wall, frame clearance and projector height.
- Map where daylight and ceiling light hit the screen.
- Decide whether wide seating or higher on-axis brightness matters more.
- Confirm whether a seam, crease or segmented construction is acceptable.
